Wonder how long it'll be until one of the new signings is considered

a) a crock

b)here for a last payday

c) not good enough before kicking a ball for us

d) all of the above

Clough has signed many a player with injury issues, And have proved to be great value [Stephen Quinn ]
No body will get a contract at Mansfield, they will earn one
Take Reid if he is here, he will have a role to play
We have to take account of what league we are in, and total budget always putting the club first, , promotion is earned not bought as many clubs have found out.

Yes thanks Boris for vaccine rollout

I once had a post deleted on here for saying Ben Bradley wasn't the sort of man we want associating with the club, on a thread where it was about Ben Bradley mentioning us in Parliament. Yet this is allowed? Why?

Boris has been the goverment spokesman on vaccine progress and the stages of recovery. [ Fact ]
To post about fans and state who should or should not associate themselves with a football club is opinion, worse a bias one

This might not be a popular opinion, but in my book Bowery has been a fail and Reid an epic fail as strikers, Bowery scored 6 of his 10 in a three week period and that spell apart hardly posed a goal threat, both he and Reid try hard but neither should be first choice if we are serious about mounting a promotion challenge…… we simply need better

I'd drive Reid anywhere he chooses. As for Bowery he's ok for the last 20 minutes running the channels.

With 6-8 new players being solid experienced pro's I reckon it will be

New GK
New RB New CB New CB New LB

Clarke Maris Quinn (or New CM if Quinn doesn't sign)

Lapslie
New CF New CF

Bench:
Stone/Stech Perch Rawson Gordon Charsley Bowery Sinclair/Law(we could see the rule that 1 member of the 18 has to be a product of the youth setup back)

In my eyes northern you're spot on, we need better otherwise we'll tread water. In fact if Ty'd started half as many games as JB I reckon he'd have out scored him.

I don’t think Bowery has been a fail, he’s actually been better than I thought he would be; but he shouldn’t be in the first choice eleven next season.

I expect Bowery to be a main player next season, tall skilful hard working, and a team player.

Blackpool could put Ollie Sarkic on the transfer list or pay him off. I wonder if Nigel Clough would give him another chance if he could prove his fitness.

I agree. All attributes liked by NC. I think fans will be disappointed if they are expecting "names".

Clough has already mentioned he is looking to sign strikers. I don’t see the point in signing two to sit on the bench when we already have two young lads who could do the same thing.

He had also emphasised numerous times that we need to take more of the chances we create.

Could be 4 or 5 teams that might get the better players before us, I still can't bring myself to hope Bolton get promoted though.

Define ‘names’ If he’s signing good players they will be ‘names’
