We've done a few pieces of shepherding back to stone. It was obvious what Sweeney was trying to do so why did stone wait until Sweeney was inside the 6vyard box before attempting to come for it? Sweeney should have cleared it once it was obvious stone wasn't coming but we've done it a few times this game so what if Sweeney was following instructions to keep possession (by getting the ball to stone) rather than surrender it by giving a throw in in an attacking area.

I have to disagree with Martin that it's solely Sweeney's fault. The fact we'd done it a fair few times this game means I'd say it was 60% stones fault and 40% Sweeney.

Stone needs to command, but at the same stage is sweeney needs to belt the ball if he’s in any doubt.

Dean is a huge fan of Stone for reasons unknown. To be fair they are looking at it from the opposite side to us but for me it was mainly down to Stone . A total joke either way . Clough must be boiling over .
When he watches it back neither will need a pen and paper in the next 3 weeks .
