Hello,
what options are there to make a contribution to the ongoing cost of the Stagsnet Board ?

it's very kind of you to offer, but it's breaking even, just about, thanks to the discrete adverts on the homepage

I expect the authors of the book advertised are paying more than enough for the upkeep!!!

How about a Stagsnet ad board for the ground, paid for by users of the site. Helps the club, promotes the forum...

I sponsored a game a few seasons ago and that brings a half page programme advert as a part of the package. As I had no use for this, I told the club that I felt I should donate the page to Stagsnet and was told in no uncertain terms this would not be allowed and was inappropriate. I think the reason given was that the board was a direct competitor to the club’s own website

I ended up donating the page to the club who used it to promote itself.

I’m not sure they would be keen on a board if the logic is still the same.
