he can't be recalled now. He could only have been recalled during the January transfer window

Ah OK. Does that mean that if their season is called off he wouldn't be allowed to return to our squad?

Lets be honest despite our current league differences county are a much bigger club than us (reputation, stadium wise etc) what would tempt you to stay at the stags if county offered you a permenant deal?
Possibly only the clough factor.

Great to hear him say he is working on his hold up play, I really want him to be our number 1, if not I would wish him well at most clubs.

Is that a joke? He's a Mansfield lad. What greater honour than being a hero for you home-town club?
And if his career is the motivational factor, plying his trade in League 2 is way better than in the Conference. Under a manager that is known for getting the best out of players, he could put himself in the shop window by scoring hatfulls in League 2. There's absolutely no guarantee that County are coming back up any time soon.
If money is the issue and both clubs want him, we can outbid Notts too.

Talking of conference goal scoring. Did you see that Kristian “Mr. Relegation” Dennis scored against the green Sheite for St Mirren the other day. They must be bad
