I may have missed it but does either the club or the EFL publish the number of subscriber for each game? If not why not?

no. Some clubs have released the figures for number of match passes sold, Mansfield hasn't.
David Sharpe tweeted that the Colchester game was our highest number of viewers, but he did not reply to tweets asking him how many.
