David Sharpe wasn't even here when GC was appointed, also your point on two year contracts. Good luck trying to sign footballers on one year deals, it rarely happens anymore because footballers want a bit of safety in their deals.
I don't blame the Radfords for GC because it looked reasonable at the time.
Sharpe was fully involved in the sale/release of players and the new signings along side GC for this season.
It would have been better to release less players and recruit fewer. That gives you flexiblity each season and avoids the potential of a bunch of dross for two year and ties the hands of any new manager. It will stop some managers coming if they can't change the majority of the team for two years.
