After watching Rawson he shouldn’t ever play for us again

Players walk past him over and over again.

Benning isolated from last Tuesday so if fully recovered he could train Friday and play with 10 days isolation?

Who else can play instead of Rawson? O'Driscoll is suspended, Sweeney out with covid. Menayese and Rawson are the only first team options aren't they?

Still doesn't excuse the defence, it's been very poor. Expected better from Rawson coming from a team that were usually up there with FGR, think he will improve if we can get some motivation and confidence in him and the team

Hope so, or does he have to test negative before he can play again?

I’d imagine so, fingers crossed he’s made a full recovery.

Sweeney just had symptoms did he not? Thought they said they were awaiting on test result.

If Benning is back then Perch could always play RB. James Clarke played CB earlier so a potential option.

Again, as I seem to have said a million times on here, and even said pre-season before we kicked a ball, it highlights the crap recruitment done by Coughlan and Burgess on the squad as a whole.

Rawson isn't a bad defender, he looks hamstrung by the system Coughlan insisted on playing.

I would give them all another chance in a different formation/tactics.

It will be very interesting to see if they perform better without the manager, which will prove the point.

If Sweeney is out then he will probably have to go 352 with perch at cb and Maris back in Cm

These players just aren’t suited to 3-5-2 which is why we look so awful at the back. That system just allows the opposition too much width and they waltz through us with ease.

Rawson would perform much better in a traditional 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and would probably turn in a solid performance. I would pair him with Menayese and if necessary play Perch at left back where he could also do a reasonable job. James Clark at right back with McLaughlin and Gordon on the wings. Lapslie and Maris in midfield with Cook and Maynard up front. I would also put Stone between the sticks with Charsley and Sinclair on the bench to change things if necessary.

That team is on the understanding that O’Keefe is unavailable but if not I would swap him for Clark.
