And a worse option to the guy with the same initials we've just sacked.

On Bob's Board they are praying we appoint Caldwell, to "cement our relegation to the National League".

If he is appointed I will be astonished.

If he was appointed , it would cut our attendance by half knowing he's a failure & hence why he hasnt a job .
Sharpey there's no room for sentiment at Mansfield ,,,, stay clear of that loser !!

Paul Heckingbottom is the favourite by some distance.

If Nigel Clough was appointed it would increase attendances (once that's relevant again, if ever!). I also suspect that the fans would be a lot more patient with him, and give him chance to build a promotion side instead of expecting a quick fix. I think that he can be trusted to get on with it, rather than giving the Radfords more stress.
We'd be known as "Nigel Clough's Mansfield", giving us a good image.
Perhaps the Sunderland FA Cup draw is an omen?

It's still a very open market, the movement so far I would imagine is people putting bets on which then is compounded if people start doing the same when prices get shorter thinking it's some inside knowledge.

If any candidate drops below 1/2 that would have more weight to it as people are putting money on with confidence and people start to get wind of information.

By the looks of the market we're currently in the interview process and very early on, so unless something happens quick I'd expect Coops to be in charge Saturday.

These are only the odds with Sky. You need the full betting odds across most bookies to get a better view on it.

David Sharpe doesn’t strike me as a fool and having binned him once and seen him fail miserably elsewhere it would be an astonishing move.

That said, I would be personally delighted!

Definition of fool:a person who acts unwisely

He sold our best two players and released others and helped recruit dross
Was that wise?

You can't blame the club for releasing CJ and Rose. They went to a higher league and we got money for them. They would have gone for free at the end of the season.Good deal imo.
