The next manager can’t be a caretaker manager, they don’t work.

Didn't say I was, did I?

Ill rephrase it then, I hope our board doesn't touch Paul Hurst with a barge pole.

What is hilarious though is people are actually suggesting Eddie Howe for manager.

Where you heard this from? Not seeing any reasons to appoint him in a hurry.

Well he got sacked by 1 of the 2 sides below us in the football league on January, so hardly inspiring

Paul Cook is 3/1 for the Salford job. Richie wellens is favourite at 4/5.

With so many clubs struggling to make ends meet I doubt firing their current manager is high on their priority list. It's possible that good managers whose last job was higher up could be interested in managing us.

If they've no income in these times it may be worth considering us.

Paul Hurst joining us is the managerial equivalent of us signing Luke Beckett

The main thing is, lets get this appointment right.

Nobody suggested him for manager, I "tongue firmly in cheek" asked what he was doing with his time  .
Would you like me to go back and re-phrase it for you

Who ever it is that comes in, it will need to be someone who can work with this group of players, can work with little budget (with the current climate of corona and no funds coming in there won’t be any cash to spend int January unless things change), and will have to be in it for the long haul. JR, CR and DS will need to find the right mix of character for this and should take a little time in deciding who’s next.

As long as we set up an interview process led by Sharpe ill be happy with whoever he deems right for the job in our current position.

I'm pretty sure Cox was the last manager to have to apply and interview for the position...
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...
