GC has failed because his squad is too young and inexperienced. There are no leaders driving the team on. GC got rid of Pearce who obviously stood up to him and that was his biggest mistake.
This team is a big mess and needs massive improvement. They need to get the next appointment right.

Barrows first league win since 1972

A first league win in 48 years.

That’s got to be hard to beat.

Some of these signings, like O'Keefe, Charsley etc the ones with potential would have been great signings as competition for players like Pearce, Mellis etc... and that bit of refreshing is what we needed, we had some good players who are now in the league above!

Throwing that lot out and branding them as rubbish/ unfit etc to cover up his own failings has all shown now.

I predicted what would happen if we went 3-5-2 against a quick breaking Barrow team but I didn’t expect it to be as easy as that.

His blueprint will never work with these players and we will be relegated if he stays.

Get a good manager in and revert to 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and we will be ok.

Sack him now and we will stay up.

Apart the goal at Newport, he’s been anonymous since coming in.

Lightweight and goes missing except for moments of brilliance is what southend fans said... spot on. We've not done our homework on most of these players.

There's a difference between considered investment a just throwing money around.

I agree. I just wonder what he will be thinking having spent all that money and how he feels about it now. Will he press on and spend more? You could understand it if he didn’t want to do that. He obviously didn’t plan for this.

Judging by how many people are still online it looks like we're all waiting for JR to pull the trigger.

No press tonight my mean he's gone already.

Don’t blame the players, blame the system. Coughlan plays it without pace which is vital if it is to succeed.

The way we play it a Sunday pub team could exploit us.

Credit to Jamie Mcguire, apparently stayed with Aaron O'Driscoll who was a bit upset with last night.

We've seen in preseason he can be good hard on the young lad being thrown in tonight, He will come good for us.

I don't think we do. Most are genuinely fearful of trips to crap holes like Wealdstone and Chesterfield next term.

Statistics, part nerd and part voodoo. Dress it up with as many stats as you like we are and we’re bleeding awful!

Technically he did catch it. He just dropped it immediately.

He also dropped the first one in the first minute or so right at Mayonaises feet as we nearly scored from it.
