Barrow haven’t won this season either, and what happens every time we play teams like that who are on a bad run, it comes to an end , it’s just the Mansfield way isn’t it. Last home game Bradford hadn’t won away for a year until they came here. Anyway they won’t be able to handle the pressure on Tuesday and can only see a 1-2 defeat I’m afraid.

Barrow are a big side who can bully the opposition. They can also score from quick breakaway runs on the counter and I think they will probably finish mid table ish once they have adjusted to life in the league. This will not be as easy as some think as they also have only three defeats out of eight.

This is a game when we should try and get the ball on the floor and play through/around their defence. Maynard and Reid to start for me and a 4-4-2 line up. 3-1 first win of the season. If we play it long and high we will lose 2-0.
