After today's good attacking performance and 12 bottles of San Miguel I'll calculate the number of points required to make the play-offs, estimated 71 points.

..PLD....W...D...L...PTS
..30.....18...2...10..56
..30.....17...5....8...56
..30.....16...8....6...56

More realistically, the 50 points to avoid relegation

..PLD...W...D...L...PTS
..30....11...2..17...35
..30....10...5..15...35
..30.....9....8..13...35
..30.....8...11.11...35
..30.....7...14..8....35

Based on recent performances we''ll finish mid table.

So now only win one game in three to get to 50 points (8 wins from 24 games )

A more realistic scenario is win less than two out of every three games for the play offs.

On Christmas Day we needed 18 wins from 27 games (win 18 lose 9).

Now it is 15 wins from 24 games (win 15 lose 9)
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

Now it is just 14 wins from 23 games for play offs ( win 14 lose 9)

Need to factor in draws so will probably need W12 D6 L5 P42 which is daunting as we only got 6 wins during first half of season. Fingers crossed

Daunting yes, but it almost mirrors Clough's current record of W6 D4 L2 P22.
