Speaking of stats, I’ve just looked at the final table and we only scored a couple of goals less than the champions. Doesn’t that sort of indicate that the issues are defensive in nature ?

Yes, analysing those 13 games on my previous post, 11 of the games are giving stupid goals away, most late in games. Only two are not scoring goals in 0-0 draws.

Probably not the worst in history, but calling them strikers should get you in trouble for misrepresentation of facts, what is true is it’s the best midfield we’ve had for some years

Yeah, but goals are scored by non strikers count as well. ;)

Deary me, some on here love extreme reactions. The strikers we have won’t take us where we would all like to be, but the more extreme criticisms are way off the mark.
