Evans hated and complained time after time, in his so eloquent way, about clubs eating and playing for time. We supporters also complained about this.

Is this something to do with crowds not allowed in? For 400 Stags fans screaming at them to get a third, clear it, stopping messing about may just have a bearing on the players ‘hymn sheets’.

Let’s be honest, with our attacking options we have absolutely no excuse to time waste and that early on, it was a bad decision for the players to make, and GC deserves criticism for not managing to sort it considering they started with 5 minutes of normal time to go.

We go on though, I think all considered our opening two games have been better than I expected, such a shame that poor 10 minutes spoiled our first win.

The closing comment is an important one. We have looked a very good side in the opening two fixtures, bar some hickups. We are in large a new squad afterall
