Wow, nearly sixteen and a half years ago. Just seems like yesterday.

You can now watch extended highlights of Mansfield's 3-1 win at Huddersfield to seal a place in the play-offs in 2004, on iFollow Stags.

And coming soon, extended highlights of the 1st leg of the play-offs, and then the 2nd leg.

Meanwhile, brief highlights of the Huddersfield game here --->

Many, many thanks Martin for those wonderful highlights from the Huddersfield match. What a performance, a team full of running full of movement, how times have changed since then.

Doesn't seem that long ago does it? I was only a young lad but I remember the goal vividly. It was a good ground to go to as a young en.

Feels like we were held behind for about an hour afterwards though!

I wonder if that Huddersfield lass is still wearing pink.

I remember this match. Wow. Makes you realise how big a failure that season really was. We were the best team in the league, no doubt. A joy to watch.

Allegedly, Junior Menses had signed a contract with Huddersfield before the Playoff final. That goal was probably why!

What was the attendance that day?

We already brought you one goal at Brighton scored from one end of the pitch to the other (scored by Steve Harper). And here's another, scored by Ian Holmes in 2008.

What a great player Gary Roberts was. Probably had talent to play a couple of divisions higher, such a shame he wasted it.

Pick that one out. Anthony Howell with a thunder-blaster at Alfreton in March 2012 in a game the Stags won 6-3.

We will have that game in full on iFollow Stags in the very near future.

listen to his undr the cosh appearance, wasted his career big time. as a young lad, he was that good managers would still play him even though he'd been out the night before. sadly the booze, drugs and gambling got to him

We've already shown Matt Green goals against Newport, Barrow, Liverpool, Hereford and Wrexham during this lockdown.

Now here's a screamer against Luton in 2011
