Hopefully it is just the dreaded vote of confidence.

All you can take from that statement is that the money, and interest , has gone.
Can see the club being put up for sale at the end of the season.
Five months, at least, of this god awful rubbish football to put up with.

Everyone can see it's done, but the one man who has the power to change it.

What is the stagsnet saying? 'the Radford's are beyond reproach'?

Hmm.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Radford has lost the plot on this one. How can it be a measured judgement? Results are what he’s judged on, we’re 15th, 10 points adrift, and out of every cup competition.

His win percentage puts him down as currently being one of the worst managers in the clubs history, footballs not particularly good, and majority of fans have had enough. Struggling to see how he’s come to that conclusion.

SURELY JR YOU CANT MAKE A JUDGEMENT FROM YOUR TAX HAVEN IN PORTUGAL ....

The Radfords are home for the Christmas period . I think people should look at the bigger picture and see we are a club being run properly. Ask Bury,Macclesfield,Bolton and whoever next.

I think we should cut John Radford a bit of slack today as it is his birthday today.

Too true bud. I'd imagine if we'd got some Saudi zillionaire pumping trillions into t'club and they got a cold pie at half time they'd be arranging a boycott until the catering manager had been ceremonialy beheaded in the centre circle.

JR if he reads this lot takes it one of 2 ways, either a hearty :hysteria: :hysteria: :hysteria: , or thinks, 'stuff you lot, I'll flog t'club for a quid to some asset stripping chancer'.

I’d love to know what the measures were for the judgement.

League position?
Performances?
Underlying data?
Discipline?
Fitness of squad?
Happiness of fans?

Or...he’s a nice bloke who we’ve know for years and we don’t want to see him without a job at Christmas.

Today I think is a big day in more ways than one. We shall see if the players are willing to roll up sleeves and fight for their manager. Lose this one i think could have a major impact on the next 2 games, big day 2day!

I m just grateful that we have owners that love, support the club and put the resources in. Come along way since Haslam and im sure promotion will come in time so long as JR and Co are here. Could be a bigger picture in play who knows I look at the clubs who got promotion last year struggling big time. Never wanna go back to the dark days before JR...im going 2day it's a club I love and support no matter what...COYS

Managers come and go.The club needs our support.I know we are in a bad place but just support them and we will get over this in time. The players have to stand up and be counted as they are the ones who are playing.IMO they are not trying hard enough ultimately this puts the manager under pressure. As a season ticket holder I will be at the game today hoping for a good display and not a loss.

You can not compare our current owner with Hasloan, two different entities entirely. Mr Radford has done a great deal for the club but I now feel he is beginning to lose interest and I too wouldn't be at all surprised to see a for sale board at the gates before too long, just my opinion.

As for the current problem, the owners statement in support of Dempster goes way too far, what if we lose heavily against Cheltenham will the owners support still be valid?

Should the club be put on the market I sincerely hope none of the current board, specifically Steve Hymas are involved in any future board.

I said before the Macclesfield, Swindon and Shrewsbury games that it’s about time both the players and manager stepped Upto the plate and put in a performance.

Given the swashbuckling, all singing all bells attached performances they then put in im just not going to say anything today

The irony is ows the type of comments made on this board is helping JR to come to that conclusion.

We all get it was the wrong appointment, we all get that the football at the moment is rubbish. Most get that the chance of promotion this season, even with a new manager, won't happen.

Just have a bit of faith in the guy who saved our club from going into the abyss.

I think, despite JR saying 'this is not the dreaded vote of confidence' that's exactly what it is.

When football club owners make these sort of statements IMO it's because the current manager is hanging by a thread and their position is almost untenable. It's sending a public message to potential applicants that there is a job coming up but that they are an owner who backs the manager.

If we fail to win today, I'd expect the next statement from JR to be along the lines of 'with great regret...loyal servant to the club....results driven business...it was mutually agreed..'.etc etc
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

I’m not saying he should be immune from criticism but some of the foot stamping and accusatory demands levelled are JR are breathtaking given where we’ve been in the not too distant past. Before that we have generally been a bog standard lower league team with occasional seasons of hope.
