A Message to Drewe Broughton

Postby EdwinstoweStag » Sun Nov 17, 2019 10:49 am

Shut it.

(For the purpose of clarity, I mean stop issuing your barely disguised slagging off of Stags fans in general, in your Twitter activity).

Could say the same to the idiot that tweeted him “get out of our club, and take all your mumbo jumbo with you along with JD”.

So much elegance in that too.

Why don’t you contact him directly on twitter, you can reach out to him directly.

I suppose it’s easier to hide behind a username on here though, no bottle as always.

I'm not on Twitter so could someone answer that one for me point by point.

If you know a woman's got clap and you hump her, you get a disease.
If you keep head butting a wall, you get an injury.
If you keep leaving your windows open, you get something stolen.
If you keep picking the same negative, unimaginative team, you don't get the three points.

Tell him I could do his job!!!

I’ve no problem with him airing his views and opinions but I have serious misgivings over his job title “high performance consultant “

I’m sure you’re right - If I indulged in Facebook or twitter, I would probably attempt to construct a 1:1 dialogue with the aforementioned Mr Broughton.

That, of course, would be completely different to his barely disguised, sweeping criticisms, of the people who pay to watch a team that have so obviously responded so well to his ministrations.

But that’s obviously different to my comments, isn’t it BigGuy?

I rest my case, you obviously don’t indulge in certain social media because you’d have to come out from under your keyboard and have an identity.

I’ll file you under ‘troll’ for the time being until you grow a set of testicles.

Cheers North Notts Stag, you managed to find your true identity after years of trolling, I salute you.

For the conversation, I have a true FB and Twitter profile, and don’t come crying on here when I want to call someone out.

If people also paid attention now and again, they might have seen me in print as well from time to time.

Leaving aside some of the debate above he does strike me as possibly one of those ‘consultants’ that talks a lot without saying very much, and of which there are many, across different industries.

I’ve looked at his tweets and I can’t work out what his method actually is.

He seems to be against data (not sure about that, given the top clubs who have achieved success all use data extensively (in fact arguably that’s where Arsene Wenger (not his coat, on this board) was ahead of his time) and for ‘trying’ (not sure anyone is disputing that).

He’s for positivity and against negativity (fair enough) but low in detail on how this is actually achieved.

I might buy his book and see if that provides further detail.

Just for the sake of clarity. It was just Notts Stag and my identity was 'hidden' for maybe a couple of years. I've been named as myself for 15+ years now. Nothing to hide what so ever.

Sad thing is if there was less toxicity at games and on social media ( some comments on here are appalling) we could save a wage.

No wonder the players need a positivity coach.

Cheers Gazza your a Star......

Now I've read it I'm still confused on how such a person can motivate a team into winning matches when the manager is so negative in his team selection perhaps Broughton is still waiting to meet Dempster
