Grimsby are 1 point behind us but have 2 games in hand over us.
We have played the same as Orient and both on 20 points.
Carlisle are 2 points behind us on the same games played.

All 3 will have significantly lower budgets than us too, with not as good a squads, and I would imagine didn’t set automatic promotion as their primary (realistic) target for the season. I do wonder at what point this will translate to the board at our club?

By the time Dempster gets sacked all the good managerial candidates will have been hired by other clubs.

Even more strange is we sacked a guy who finished in our highest league 2 finish since 01/02. Beggars belief.

With a budget which would rival every league one club apart from the top third never mind the biggest budget in league two.

Said budget with expensive flops that Evans signed. Top 3 budget. Finished 4th with Anderson, Mirfin and Diamond taking up some of said budget. I wonder how big the budget would be taking out their wages.

We have the same budget this season apparently, and look where we are.
Budgets don't guarantee success.
