Remember playing Shrewsbury away around 25 years ago. It peed it down. We lost 3-1 and conceded a first minute goal if memory serves me right

Shrewsbury was absolute carnage that day, the violence in the town even got mentioned on national radio. I think trouble with Shrewsbury goes back many, many years.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

I remember it well. Awful day and so called fans ripping seats out. Hope it’s Bradford tbh.

They have a new ground now away from the town.
Not sure if it's improved since last time.

I’ve heard Broughton reckons it’s a good draw.

I like this draw. Little expectation and a team we haven't played for a while (if it's Shrews). Plus, I have a mate who supports them so that'll add interest for me.

Agreed - whereas it’s not the first name I’d have picked out Shrewsbury is a decent day out.

Stags fans were even fighting between themselves in the seats at the side of the pitch

Can remember Shrewsbury coming down to us first game of the season about 92 or 93.
Cs gas used in a mass brawl outside the Portland so its swings and roundabouts.
