Sandy Pate Best Stag wrote:If it is Evans and the meeting did in fact take place last night, I think the question we should be asking is which of our current squad no longer wish to play for the club/manager. With the transfer window 5 weeks away negotiations for players will be taking place now and I think it much more likely that's what they were discussing.
My gut feeling is that in scenario, it is most likely to be White. He was signed by Evans for a big fee and doesn't seem settled at the moment.
I may be very wide of the mark in this but think it more feasible than Evans returning as manager.
Gillingham haven't got money to spend on transfer fees I don't think, most of their business was done on frees on loans in the summer. Whites been pretty much injured since his leg break and his come back has had many a setback. He doesn't 'seem settled' because he's been injured for about a year,.
Maybe they just went for a drink together?

I don’t post very often but all this latest speculation makes me very uneasy. I have met the Radfords a few times , I met most of the players and JD in Portugal and find him to be a truly decent bloke. All the videos and posts on social media like the signing of Maynard at the airport etc all might seem good for the club but the posing , showing of wealth and extravagance in luxury hotels and houses around the would is in bad taste. The Radfords have been saviours for our club and deserve respect and thanks but when a lot of Mansfield folk struggle to pay to watch their team I’m sure a lot feel just a little bit offended by the silly posts and rumour spreading that goes with all the social media rubbish. The Radfords have my support and we are lucky to have them but we as supporters also deserve respect.

To be fair John doesn’t flaunt his wealth but his wife certainly does. The constant teasing posts are unprofessional and becoming tiresome. There is certainly something afoot with them being home but they need to make a statement to put all these rumours to bed.
Either back JD or move on to a new manager.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

And there's little taste for that kind of thing while the country suffers from austerity.
On them being at home, I think that may just be because its winter. Living in Portugal is for the spring and summer months.

Not going to lie, her social media presence annoys me now whereas it never used to.
Can't put her phone onto selfie mode without turning her head from side to side and pouting. That's what mirrors were invented for.
She neved used to be that vain, I think she has loved the attention and would love to be one of these "Instagram celebs"
It's probably just me though, but cannot see the point in it. Most of her followers are there for club issues and couldn't give a flying fig about her new handbags.

Think she should consider 2 accounts, one for her CEO role, and one for people interested in her cleavage.

The main point for me is she posted on Instagram last night teasing the fans about why she was going, therefore in the present climate it had to be something to do with the manager, otherwise the fans on here and on social media wouldn’t be speculating half as much as they are doing

Darryl Clarke is a good manager, I’d love him at FM.

Not sure about top totty but I bet she has enough plastic to keep her afloat if she ever gets her swimsuit wet.
Give me the natural look anytime.

Me too, I’m interested in her views on MTFC.
Her pouting and posing just makes me cringe.

At the end of the day, if nothing is going on and the supporters are being teased by her ladyship it's not very proffesional is it?

Which is surprising because she's usually a beacon for professionalism.
