Great to see Jordan back. May well be needed as another option if old glass ankles breaks down again

Reserves report: Walsall 1-1 Stags
Tue 15 Oct 2019, mansfieldtown.net, by Jack Hasler

A late Jordan Graham finish secured Stags’ reserves a point against Walsall in their opening Central League fixture of the season.

After eight months on the sidelines, 21-year-old Graham combined with CJ Hamilton to score a deserved equaliser in the 87th minute.

The amber and blue had been behind since the half hour mark when James Hardy powered past Aidan Stone from the edge of the area.

Why has the stags started to be replaced with the amber and blue on reports and interviews?. It's a bit like calling the Quarry Lane end the South stand.

Oh I see now ...
"The amber and blue had been behind since the half hour mark..."

I haven't noticed that elsewhere, was not used in reports or interviews for Oldham game, nor for interviews from today's press conference.

May just have been this student (Jack Hasler) who did the report for this game for mansfieldtown.net.

Young stags. The fawns. The dohs if we lose.
Don't think they can be called the stags til they make the first team.
Mansfield reserves will do for me but not the Stags.

yes you're right, I was wrong. Most odd. I have never noticed it before today. It is not a nickname that has been used in our history and I don't know why it is starting now.

Traditionally it's Amber and Blue, long may it stay like that.
