How do we think this one started? Senior pros going to the manager or a general discussion? Either way, Dempster has admitted he has made mistakes so far and is learning all the time and anything that takes it forward for his career and the club's results has to be good . . .

Even more embarrassing for JD. That’s how this reads to me anyway. Mind you I only read a few paragraphs due to the adverts.

Probably from Drewe Broughton being appointed and him speaking to players about it.
He’s got to started producing results now. He’s changed his back room staff, new training methods. If we don’t win Saturday, or put in the same performance as port vale game, then he’s got to walk.

Another nail in the coffin. Just one admission after another, of how wrong it was to appoint him in the first place.

Absolute disgrace that a rookie manager is still learning and willing to take advice. Very poor.

He must feel under so much pressure but won't walk I guess until he is pushed out and the talk about improvements and making changes and looking for winning formula is a bit boring and repetitive now.
Thoroughly decent guy but you cannot make a Rolls Royce out of an old Ford Fiesta.
Don't think the club should have asked him to take the job and they have put him in a cauldron and he is now gently bubbling away till cooked to death.

think when he took the job I was willing to give him a chance and hoping he would be the next England manager, it now looks as if he won't be good enough to be the next Sutton town manager, we need to make changes now as this boring ineffective football is effecting every part of the club.

The thoughts of a lost man giving away responsibility to the players abdicating himself from accountability.
Again, another interview tantamount to a resignation.
Please do this man a favour, Radford, and dismiss him.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

A good manager is prepared to accept that he may have got some things wrong and learn from his mistakes. Let's hope this works out for JD. Everybody is desperate for him to succeed.

It's quite a task on here to find a fair and sensible quote.
Well done Tippy.

Absolutely good point TTF except for the last line because quite a lot of us don't believe he can improve so want a change for the best interests of the club. Sorry.

Even if you don't believe he can improve, you should still want him to.

No I don't because I don't believe he can and any improvement will be short lived and ultimately reduce the club to relegation candidates so I want a manager who can fulfill our promise. It's not about being right or wrong it's about wanting success for MTFC and I genuinely don't believe that will be under JD at any time...simply because he has played for us and managed the Academy shouldn't hide the shocking deterioration the club has had in the 5 months since he took over.

It also feels like there was/still is a hangover from last year, we had no momentum going in to this season because of the disappointing end to the season when we blew it when it was in our hands for so long. The manager might not be perfect, but the players need to look at themselves too

Is the correct answer.
But the Flitcroft lovers refuse to see that & instead are laying all the blame at the feet of JD.

He's his own man with his own ideas. Even if the former is true, which it is to some degree, then that doesn't make what has happened this season DF's fault does it.

He’s partly to blame yes. He got us into this spiral with his tactics & team selections from January onwards. JD is trying to pick up the pieces while also learning his trade and having ten players out injured/suspended/in jail!

I sense a Notts County scenario developing with our team and a relegation fight taking shape if something is not done soon.
Urgent action is needed now, go any longer and no manager worth his salt will touch us with a barge pole.
