How many do people think we'll take to Grimsby, given current position? Same as Port Vale?

Can’t see it being as large following as recent years.
Grimsby looking good this season, some very good recruitment this summer. Can see them giving us a hiding to be honest.
Fair play to them sticking with Jolley during the rough times.

Not travelling all the way from Lancashire to watch this raspberry. Something has to change, either Dempster pulls off a miracle or we bring in a proper manager.

Grimsby is one of the worst away days of all time.
The place, in general, is hostile and horrible.

I’ll be there but know a few regular away travellers that aren’t bothering. It’s a shame because even though Grimsby is a complete dive, there’s normally a decent atmosphere in the away end there.
The buzz has completely gone and it’s going to start effecting attendances until the manager is replaced. I reckon a good 300 more people would go to Grimsby if there was a new manager in charge next week. I know some will say that’s ridiculous and the team should be backed regardless, but that’s just the truth of it. People don’t want to go and spend £70/80 on the day out when results are so poor with a manager that’s not up to the job.

Spot on BH_STAG but seemingly the club are adopting the ostrich syndrome and alienating the fan base bit by bit....

If you don't mind a bit of walking, you can have a great day out in Cleethorpes. A nice walk along the sea front towards the Old Town. A visit to Willy's Micro Bar and Brewery which brews its own beer. They did not have the football on the last time I went there so I popped into The Smugglers which was also a decent pub. There is also a Wetherspoons in the Old Town (Coliseum Picture Theatre) and the Nottingham Hotel. There are also a couple of pubs at the train station - No 1 Pub and No 2 Refreshment Room. Fish and Chips from Ernie Becketts or Steels or numerous other places including on the pier. You can then walk back along the sea front towards Blundell Park, climb over a small wall and cross over the railway bridge and you are right outside the away end.
I think the Stags fans who go on the SSA coaches normally drink in the Blundell Park Hotel opposite the ground. There is also a bar inside the ground - Scotties.

Looking at the headline in the Chad today, it looks like the owners are taking their soundings, from a select group, who are telling them that everything in the garden is rosy.
By the time home attendance's have halved, they might realise, there was something wrong.
