U do I think need a very strong personality, looking at Lowe on Sat he kept pulling and shouting players about and they responded well.
JD does not inspire leadership much and wish he had just a FEW of the bits of Steve Evans in him and that would be a perfect mix.

I'd be on the phone to Jones today.

Please get Dempster out and Jones in.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

how long will you give him if he can't get a tune out of this bottleless shower dressed as footballers. 5-6 games before you get the axe out to grind?

The difference with Jones, Parkinson and others is that they have a history of success based on firm foundations. Therefore the issue with John Dempster is that there is nothing on his CV to suggest that he has that background that makes this early season shambles just a bad spell rather than his own inability to manage a club and set of professional players rather than kids who wouldn't say boo to a goose.

What you talking about you complete pillock.

Did I want Murray out, no
Did I want Evans out, no
Did I want Flitcroft out, no
Do I want Dempster out, yes - along with EVERYONE ELSE.

I echo what Chris Nottm said above.

So wind your neck in and stop insinuating that I always want managers out after a handful of games.

What are you trying to prove? That you haven't got a life, or that you have no friends beyond stagsnet usernames?

It’s not gonna be that easy to find a replacement as they need to be called Broughton.

You advertise, you wait for the agents & CVs to come in & you interview, it’s what happens you never know who might apply tbh

like everything it’s about timing

There were rumours we had interviewed evans/spoke to him weeks before Murray got the axe so maybe they are talking to people now.

The appointment of DF was pretty sharpish too if I remember correctly

I think the sacking and appointment were in the same press release.

Why not? I think there’s a fair chance we’d see an upturn in results if Dempster was sacked even if he wasn’t immediately replaced. The squad will have a free reign without a manager with a poor record hanging over them, and they’ll have to get their act together ready for a new appointment. Of course there’s the argument they should ‘have their act together’ all the time, but if they don’t really believe in the manager then it shows. It would also allow for a proper interview process to commence (if it hasn’t already) where managers can apply.

At the moment it just feels like fans, players and management are just waiting for the inevitable and it’s counterproductive.

They could make Jacob Mellis the manager. He doesn’t seem keen to play anymore.

2 more home games without a win and improvement then a change must be needed, been a difficult start but for a manager who’s not proven needs time. If a change is needed then so be it, it’s only football and worse things happen in life

I truly believe we already attempted to replace him but the manager in question turned us down.

Jones record at stoke was woeful... P34 W4 D15 L15 could blame Manny other factors such as over paid players that think they belong in the premier league.

Don't think he should of left luton though... Thought he'd struggle with them and jumped to the bigger club, better players and more money and its not worked out... I do think he'd be great back in league two with a club like us.

He could surely get a better club than us. Although his record at Stoke has been terrible, he seems to be absolved of most of the blame.

He's the third manager been unable to do anything with the players at Stoke. Any club that signs Berahino needs to look at itself.

Well I will be civil if you don't present or phrase your question in such a loaded way that insinuates that I always 'grind my axe' after 5-6 games. Since Paul Cox was in charge, I've not wanted our manager gone (until now), but you imply I'm always at the front of the queue.

That's why the animosity.
