Average ratings from Martin's reports for players who have started at least four games
7.10 Rose (10 starts)
6.70 Khan (5)
6.63 Tomlinson (4)
6.63 White (4)
6.50 Gordon (9)
6.50 MacDonald (8)
6.45 Benning (10)
6.43 Maynard (7)
6.41 Logan (11)
6.38 Shaughnessy (4)
6.30 Bishop (5)
6.22 Hamilton (9)
6.05 Pearce (10)
6.00 Preston (8)
6.00 Mellis (6)
5.80 Sweeney (10)
Average ratings from the Fans Eggy polls for players who have started at least four games
7.05 Rose (10 starts)
6.59 Gordon (9)
6.57 Khan (5)
6.55 Shaughnessy (4)
6.54 Maynard (7)
6.47 White (4)
6.43 Benning (10)
6.37 Pearce (10)
6.36 MacDonald (8)
6.34 Tomlinson (4)
6.30 Sweeney (10)
6.26 Bishop (5)
6.25 Logan (11)
6.12 Mellis (6)
6.10 Preston (8)
5.95 Hamilton (9)
So in summary Danny Rose tops both lists which isn't surprising.
However Martin gives more than a quarter of a point per game than the fans for Tomlinson and Hamilton
Whereas the Fans give a third of a point per game more than Martin for Pearce and a whole half a point more for Sweeney.
So it looks like Pearce and Sweeney are being given a bit of slack by the fans due to last season's heroics, while Tomlinson and Hamilton are being made scapegoats.
The overall average this season is 6.4pts per game whereas last season the scoring averaged 6.8pts per game.
Both lists surprisingly have the same averages. (6.4 this year and 6.8 last year)
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

Shocked at Maccas rating. Anonymous whenever I’ve seen him this season.

Shocked at Preston's ratings, he' been a liability this season.
Expect him to be off the Bolton in January.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Psycho Preston is still a very good defender if he can control his recklessness. Has he got some issues off the pitch that need sorting out? Why suddenly start diving in when he did not do it last season? Hopefully Mind Man Drewe will sort him out.

Surprising very little difference.
The only player who has started four League games whose average score has changed by at least 0.2 pts is Sweeney whose score by Martin's reckoning has gone from an average of 5.80 to 6.00 because his performance against Morecombe in League Cup ( a score of 4) has been removed from the average.
Sweeney's fan score just gone up from 6.30 to 6.36 by removing the Morecambe cup game.
