Don’t get hung up on the 51 points, it’s just a ball park figure and with only one relegation place I agree it is a bit high, it shows what a terrible season we’re having when we’re discussing how many points we need to stay up!!!!
That said, remember last season when you and a few others were saying 81 points was too low to finish in the Top 3, and it should be 83 / 84 points, then 2nd & 3rd place both gained automatic promotion with 79 points

no argument that it's a terrible season when we are two points above 22nd place after 19 games. But you worked out your points total based on the 23rd place achieved by Bristol Rovers forgetting that only 24th goes down. Continuing the error isn't helpful, especially when I've seen others on facebook today who didn't realise that only one place is relegated.

There’s no error Martin, I purposely chose to beat 50 points, fully in the knowledge that Bristol Rovers were relegated in 23rd place and only 24th is relegated this season.
Whilst unlikely, it’s mathematically possible to be relegated with more than 51 points.
It’s just a ball park figure.

However you look at it Kirkby it's poor statistics. You worked out your ball park figure based on 23rd place. Now you realise you should have used 24th place, instead of re-working your ball-park figure, you prefer to stubbornly stick with your figure. So, it's a ball-park figure based on the wrong assumption.

Will we lose the massive point we got at Moss Rose?

The downward spiral started on 9th February, losing a Newport 1-0, followed by losing at Notts Clownty 1-0
Prior to 9th Feb, Stags had lost only 3 out of 35 league games
Since 9th Feb, Stags have lost 16 out of 35 League games
