Sounds about right to me, I guess it depends who’s available and if we let anyone go. They were clearly looking at a number 10 type (what does that mean for Davies?) and we look short at centre back if we play a 3.

doesn't mean much for Davies because a number 10 is usually an attacking midfielder or someone who plays just behind the two up top

They already hinted in the interview they don't want khan out wide, want him in and on the ball

Yeah, mixed up my numbers as I was thinking he’d been looking at backups for cook. We had quigley? on trial as a bigger forward and more recently 2 more no. 10 type players, he’s definitely looking at forward options so I guess it’s who’s available and in budget?

Dempster was trying to sign Ball, so he obviously wanted one. Khan has been more effective out wide so far in pre-season.

Unless someone leaves I feel our transfer business is now complete.

Don't see the need for more players unless the injuries already present are going to be longer term than previously thought.

Think the club has done really well....Cook and Maynard are what we needed .....anyone else after that have been bonus signings and neither Donohoe or Kellan are poor additions....well done the recruitment team....and of course Otis Kahn reinvigorated is like a new signing too

I still think we need 2, I think we need an attacking midfielder and a Striker.

I think we need a bit of pace upfront.

I think we have an excellent squad.. it remains to be seen how well the team gels.

We should be hopeful for promotion with the talent available (IMO)

I think we will need a winger ,as I expect CJ to have been sold before the end of the window

Agree with comments saying they’d add another forward. If the 11 is pretty much as we all expect it to be Dempster will be turning to his bench when in need of a goal and Rose is the only senior forward we will have available on the bench to come on and change it.

Obviously we can change formation, move CJ etc. but I do think there’s room for one more squad player and I think Dempster does too with us trying to sign Ball and trying out a few forwards on trial.

Shouldn't this be the 6th mystery signing as I think young James Clarke deserves to be treated as a signing if he is in our first team squad.

I still think we need another centre half and another experienced/quality centre midfield player as back up for Bish in case he gets injured. I don't think I would be confident of promotion with a centre mid made up from Mellis/Macca/Baby Bish/Donohue/Young Alistair.

I prefer Jacob Mellis when he plays in the attacking midfield role and has more freedom. His strength is his passing and so we need to get him on the ball as much as possible. He is not as good when he has to put in the hard defensive work.

Just seen this on Swindon's forum. No idea where it's come from through...

Mansfield now favourites to sign Zach Clough from Florest on loan for the season. Oldham wanted him but couldn't pay as much of his wages as Mansfield can.
