RH academy

Is this in use by the first team yet.

Not really seen many updates about it since just after Christmas anyone know what sort of facilities it’s got inside and if any more improvements are being made.

The interview LG did last week confirmed the first team were training there then.

The grass pitches 2 of them have been totally redone again this summer with new drainage added, and look very good last week when I was up there, admittedly that was from the 3G so they could still be a few weeks off being totally ready?

They have also just finished adding an extension to the old changing rooms building which I believe is going to have gym equipment in for the players to use.

My youngest trains and plays there most weeks and almost every week you can see improvements have been made

The facilities are and will be top draw the envy of most if not all league 2 and 1 clubs

Cheers Martin.

Hopefully Stevo will do a video tour around the complex once it’s fully finished and maybe an open day there too.

On the RH Academy, Lee Glover told iFollow Stags:
"The pitch is obviously bedding in. We trained on it yesterday and it's fine."

Well done to Steve Hymas and JR for all the time and money spent building the RH Training Ground and Academy. Fantastic.

Minor injury means I have an unexpected couple of days off of work and the paint I have been watching has now dried. Can you just turn up and watch the lads train at the academy ? .

You have to disguise yourself as a bush and try not to allow dogs to sniff you.

Hopefully Dempster won’t be getting an earful this season for overuse of the deep freeze, filling it with youth prospects.

I thought we were going to have an opening event for the academy? Or have I missed it? Could quite easily be me, in which case is there a way for a fan to head down and have a look? e.g. youth game or something that allows fans in?
