From 28 January. Shows the impact on the side of seven Mansfield players at this time, four of which were nowhere near the run in, Davies Timi Otis and Bobby.

Those stats are a little misleading as Craig Davies only started 5 league games, Otis Khan 15, Danny Rose 13 and Timi Elsnik 12.

Craig Davies was clearly struggling with his injury and was not pulling up any trees. He was starting to get a bit of stick from the Field Mill faithful before he was out for the season. Otis Khan was doing well before he was injured but DF then seemed to lose faith in him when he was fit again and stuck with the disappointing Jorge Grant (even as a sub). Danny Rose has battled hard but he's not had a great season. He lost his confidence in front of goal and was struggling to hit a cow's backside with a banjo by the end of the season. We did seem to miss Timi Elsnik a bit. Our midfield did seem to play better with him in the side although he was more steady than spectacular. He was usually worth a solid 7 out of 10.

As posted before, Timi Elsnik's stats were fairly good

Timi Elsnik - W7 D4 L1 (25 points)

25 points from 12 games = 2.08 points per game

Elsnik may have been happy at Northampton and sees his future there.

Elsnik gave us something different in midfield. Someone who could run beyond the midfield into the box. He also wasn't afraid of sticking a foot in. Looking back, and at the time none of us were saying this, i really wish we'd have kept him.
