I’m sure I read that’s its unreserved seating somewhere? Hope if that’s the case everybody knows (not going to happen)

It will be unreserved seating, if you're using the same tickets they're obviously going to have a lower tier seat on despite the fact you're in the upper, hence no reserved seat.

Says we were going to be limited to 4,000 tickets, could have sworn blind it was above that figure before we asked for even more tickets.

Making it up as they go along, we had nearly 5,000 tickets before the change

Read the statement thoroughly. It says originally 4000 issued but more issued after request from Stags (Further 1300)

Taken from the official MTFC website...

https://www.mansfieldtown.net/news/2019 ... m-mk-dons/

An update from MK Dons at noon today (Friday) said:

'Those affected are supporters with ticket numbers 884 to 911 in the Lower Tier Rows C to EE as well as those with ticket numbers 916 to 943 in the Lower Tier Rows C to EE. To clarify, supporters with a disability are not affected as those tickets were not issued in the two affected blocks.

'Following work last night and this morning, MK Dons have configured their access control system so away supporters with affected tickets can now directly enter the Upper Tier without the need for a ticket exchange.

'This will almost certainly speed things up and avoid unnecessary queues outside the stadium. That said, supporters are still advised to arrive in plenty of time to take their seats. Turnstiles open at 1.30pm.

'Those with affected tickets, as detailed above, should enter Stadium MK via Gates 1 or 3 with their current ticket, where they will gain access to the Upper Tier and be directed by stewards to a seat.

'MK Dons are confident that the measures in place, detailed below, will see all supporters through the turnstiles quickly and efficiently.'

I have a spare adult ticket for tomorrow. Lower tier, not one of the ones that need to move (at least that’s what I think). Need to collect from me at the ground by 1.45pm latest. PM me if you are interested.

I have done, it states that on Monday when we asked for additional tickets then measures were being put in place to accomodate us all, so why did it take until Thursday to pee us off?

On Monday this week, MK Dons received a request from Mansfield Town for a 1,000 additional tickets. The easy decision was to say no, but MK Dons instead considered creative ways, with the safety personnel, on how we might achieve this and worked hard throughout the day to explore where we could release more tickets so that as many Mansfield Town supporters as possible could attend such an important occasion.

Sounds like they've at least tried to avoid the problems many of us have mentioned pre match. Still a shambles and very late in the day to be doing this and changing prices but at least sense has prevailed and we don't need to exchange now.

COYS let's put these jokers in their place and secure our promotion now. Loud and proud tomorrow.

noticed on the OS they have took out the ‘unreserved seating’ line - wish they pushed that because a lot are not going to understand that the seat on the ticket isn’t necessarily theirs.

Maybe we could get an apology and as a gesture of goodwill a £5 voucher to use in their food and drink outlets, not necessarily for alcohol. That would soothe a bit of the annoyance for everyone? Just saying, when someone sells a product and then it turns out to be not what you ordered then it can go some way to making things better.

Having said that, when we get promoted we won't have to be a returning customer next season so they probably won't care very much!

Fair to say MK have reached new levels of incompetence in the way this farce has played out… they couldn't organise a booze up at a brewery.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think me helping the police is about as likely as you turning teetotal ;)

Anyway I hope you get there in time for kick off, enjoy the game & our promotion then have a great time on your European tour afterwards. Stay safe & enjoy. COYS
