Mansfield Police on Twitter have announced that due to safety reasons our whole allocation has been shifted into the top tier.
No Mansfield fans will be in the lower tier!

They have now deleted the tweet!
It said that due to safety concerns the blocks downstairs have been relocated to the top tier and a ticket exchange would be at the back of the away end for supporters who have a lower tier ticket.

It’s an absolute disgrace if so in my opinion.
Would be absolute carnage with 4000 people who have lower tier tickets trying to ‘exchange’ their tickets.
Man Utd, Coventry, Lincoln, Wolves, Northampton, Portsmouth, Sheffield United to name a few have taken more to MK than we are set to take and there was no such action taken. Wouldn’t be great for the players either. Why can’t they just do their job and police it? Hopefully not true.

You would think this was solely to prevent a pitch invasion at the end.

Wait until it’s on the official stags site and stags twitter before we all jump on the outrage bus.

So 6,000 Lincoln fans are allowed in the lower tier but only 4,500 are a problem and must be in the upper tier.
I'm so pleased the government (not backing them) have raspberried police wage and pensions over, the raspberries deserve it
Notts police are the worst

it's literally because of potential pitch invasion. it's pathetic. Are they going to move all MK don fans to upper tier too in case they win.

Our reputation goes before us. They must consider Mansfield Town supporters to be akin to Chelsea and Millwall from the 1970s.
It always brings it home to me how bad they consider us, when Notts v Imps and Forest v Leeds kicks off at 1500pm but we are made to play at an earlier time.
A bit late in the day to consider this change now though.

4000 I believe.
4000 people turning up between 2 and 3 needing to exchange their ticket. It’s beyond ridiculous.

Can the top tier hold 5000 fans without some stag fans above mk Don's fans? Unless they have planned to close blocks off

There is an official announcement now and some are being shoved upstairs but not all. And we thought we were a shambles when it came to ticketing!!

Reading it, it would seem the 1st few rows of lower tier being moved to upper. Not all Stags fans being told to move. Ticket numbers affected shown on our official site. What a joke, did they do this to Lincoln? No of course not.

We still are but we are not alone.
I must admit before this issue I could not believe how well the ticketing was handled, no messing about, extra tickets available before the last batch ran out etc etc.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Seem to me from the ground plan that some of the lower tier behind the goal are being relocated to the upper tier more into the corner !!! Shambles.

Read it again. Rows C to EE, over 100 rows, 50 plus seats per row... They're moving job lot of us. It's a farce.

What if a family has bought a group of tickets and their tickets for example are row D 914 to 918. That will mean half of the family are moved to upper tier and half left lower tier.
How is that fair? Haven't checked our tickets yet because my mates dad has them but we went down specifically to buy them all together just in case segregated seating is put in place because we want to sit together.

It's everybody!!!
What an absolute farce this has become, no wonder people don't bother as much with football these days.
Ruining what could have been an excellent day.
