Take it you missed all the games he played wing back start of the season watching derby U23s.

I hope you are not talking to soon. Full marks for giving credit, but I think it would have been safer saying it when the season had ended. Ignore my pessimism !

Hats off to the defence, whatever happens now. Absolutely amazing, and they make it look easy. Chief has to be promoted to Stags legend soon, surely. Even though obviously it's not just down to him, he's led by example.

That’s fantastic.
Made even better when you think we’ve done that with 3 different goalkeepers.

Having 3 centre backs in the team and with Bish in front has worked a treat. We haven't scored as many goals as others but we're a hard team to beat and it's works really well overall.
As good as the defence has been, I think Bishop should be on the list to. The defensive work he does has helped us massively.

we have the second best goal difference in the league, we've scored 3 less than Lincoln
wish we would've had bish last season, we would've probably been promoted. I hope he's just as good next season

I agree, Bishop last season would have made a massive difference. However we would still have been lacking in that attacking 3rd of the pitch.
Now Bishop plus McNulty would definitely have got us promoted last season. Shame about the Bishop (St. Stand)

Agreed. Our defence has been top draw. Yesterday was a great example with excellent marking and backing up of team mates going on from everyone. Pearce and Sweeney were fantastic and Preston very good too. Mellis and Bish superb again. Special mention to Sir Mal Benning and Jones who were also good defensively and great attacking outlets in the second half too.

Who signed KP? Murray or Cox?

I think it was AM, following a trial. He had been released by Torquay who had been relegated.

I remember seeing him in the pre season friendly at Renuff. He played the first half and during the half time warm down they were doing sprints. He was so slow I thought what a cart horse. He has turned out to be a thoroughbred. It wouldn't surprise me if Championship teams are sniffing around hoping to sign him

^ that can't be true!
Murray has a keen eye for player. Should be in talent acquisition.

I've got to say it but it probably been even better if we'd stuck with Conrad after Bobby got injured.

The chief is a player who rightly deserves to be called a legend, unlike some other names I've heard mentioned.

Or as some may say , ''even with Conrad playing ''.

He's a winger/striker... Don't care if he's had a few minutes at right wing back. He's not a defender.
Take it your a massive raspberry?

Few minutes?
He played many games in place of benning when White was fit and has played many in place of white to accommodate benning. He's been a big part of that back five. Not his best position, no, but that's where he's been playing quite regularly until walker was suspended.
