The first-ever edition of ‘The Ex-Factor’ arrives at Mansfield Town’s 1861 Suite on Saturday 18 May!

As a staple of many household television screens, the X Factor is on course to celebrate 15 years since its inception in 2004.

From One Direction to Olly Murs, and JLS to Jedward, viewers have been hooked on the potential next-best singer to emerge from the country since it was first broadcast.

And ‘Killer On The Loose’ – the UK’s leading murder mystery company – will be heading to our 1861 Suite with their brand new plot based around the music competition this forthcoming May!

With tickets priced at £27, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a fully interactive murder mystery event that is performed by a cast of professional actors.

During the course of the evening our guests will be allowed to interrogate the suspects, examine evidence and ultimately guess the murderer to be in with a chance of winning both ‘Star Detective’, alongside a special prize.

The event is scheduled to commence at 7:30pm and conclude around 10pm, with the bar remaining open until 11pm.

In addition, a delicious three-course meal is included within the ticket price!

What to find out a little more about what the evening entails? You can find a full breakdown of the plot below...

It’s the week before the Grand Final of ‘Voice Finder’ – Channel 5’s brand new talent show. However, while the four finalists are excited, it’s a different story for the show’s presenter, Carol Johnson, and head judge, Norman Benedict. The show has been a complete flop, and with Channel 5 due to axe the show, the production company behind ‘Voice Finder’ have told Carol she will probably be looking for a new job next year unless she can find another television channel to pick up the second series. In a last-ditch attempt to secure a second series of ‘Voice Finder’, Carol has organised a special invitation-only dinner for television executives from around the country. A select number of friends and family have also been invited, who will all get the chance to watch the four finalists exclusively perform their chosen songs for the final. However, with fame and fortune on the horizon, an ex-partner is out to cause trouble, which could signal the final nail in the coffin for ‘Voice Finder’...

Tickets cost £27 per person and are available online at www.mtfcboxoffice.co.uk or from the Mansfield Town Football Club ticket office on Quarry Lane. Alternatively, call our commercial department on 01623 482 482 (option 3).

Are you allowed to murder either one of the contestants or one of the judging panel of this ‘god-awful’ show? If so count me and I will bring my own hefty candle stick holder!!
