Ref lost the plot? Sounds like it was Walker who did that...

Great result. Well done stags.

Game should of been done. Ref bottled it and kept playing, think he wanted another goal.

A great win tarnished by a few crazy decisions,

Tomlinson doing a stupid two footer just outside our box injuring himself and Walker getting him sent off with 30 seconds to play - what a knobhead.

It’s complete idiocy from Walker, he wants a serious fine for that by the club if he’s getting himself sent off over something so ridiculous in the 97th minute when winning.

3 game ban is it now when we have Rose, Davies, and Graham all our injured? Doesn’t bode well if we want to change things does it. Very frustrating.

In your opinion. I think we edged it yes, and they never hurt us, though I wouldn’t say we controlled it, we didn’t create that many chances really. Maybe ‘neither team deserved to win it’ a tad harsh, but wouldn’t have walked away surprised at a 0-0, particularly with the nature of the goal.

I’m delighted with the win. Massive after recent results.

There was an injury and we kicked the ball away a couple of times. Play to the whistle.

How many times though do you see players mouthing obscenities at refs and linesmen and nothing being done? All the f***ing time. That is really pathetic. TYler should have been careful but. How wa there an extra 3 minutes of added time. Was there a lot of time wasting during that period?

Well it gives Ajose a chance to shine now and hopefully bring some youth onto the bench.

Tyler missing for 2 or 3 games gets rid of the headache who to drop to Sweeney back in the team.....

CJ more of an attacking roll

Can't see a problem

If referees start sending players off for swearing you’d end up with 5 aside every week.

I had commentary on and was looking at sky bet which is a minute ahead of commentary. By the time the final whistle went their clock had passed the 98 minute mark. Was there really 4-5 minutes of time wasting?

The first 2 minutes of stoppage time were taken up with Preston getting cramp, then Tomlinson went down injured, so I don't think the extra extra time was that outrageous.

I've never seen a lino call play back like that for decent so I'd be curious to know what Walker said. It must have been serious though because as soon as the lino waved his flag, Walker knew he was getting a red card. Thick as raspberries from him.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

I thought the linesman who walker swore at was the best linesman I have seen at One Call, he never missed a thing all game. And I thought their keeper was their best player, made some great saves.

There is a very distinct difference between swearing at a decision and swearing at a match official. You swear at a referee it should be a red card (called offinabus). The fact that movie star refs in the Prem don't apply the law correctly has angered me for 20 years! Walker was silly, but he's young and will learn. He obviously cares so I'll cut him some slack, after all he did win us the game today.

Got one striker (Ajose) avaliable from now on.

Anybody thought Bish was not with it today? He didn’t seem raring to go in to tackles as normal and was falling upon himself. Hope he’s okay.

Tomlinson was very good but that ridiculous two footed challenge that got him a yellow card and a injury was ridiculous.

I'm not sure when Tomlinson did a stupid 2 footer outside of our box, I must have missed that. I did see him attempt to bring down the FGR player just outside their box with 1 foot, he overstretched himself to try to stop the counter and ended up with cramp. I'd say the ref played about the right amount of added time, Bish down for treatment, Preston down with cramp twice and Tomlinson down with cramp too, the last 3 all in injury time.

Vital win today, we definitely deserved it on chances created. First half we should have been 2 or 3 to the good. It wasn't too dissimilar to the game at The New Lawn the other week. The goal was an own goal, Mills headed the ball into his own net, fair play to the ref and lineman who didn't blow for a foul on the keeper from Walker, probably the best decision those pair made all afternoon. I was disappointed that we seemingly sat on our 1 goal advantage with over 20 minutes to go, we know from last season how that can sting you and it could have done today, had those deflections not edged in our direction.

Better from CJ today. He was hugging the touchline all afternoon, he created lots of problems for them. Nobody really stood out head and shoulders above anybody else today, so very difficult to choose a MOTM. I think Benning possibly has a good claim, a great last minute interception in the first half and good all-round play. Pearce was solid again, as was Preston. Jones looks an adequate replacement for White, but doesn't pose the same attacking threat. The midfield battle today was interesting, Bish, Tomlinson and Mellis had a decent tussle with Brown, Digby and Collins. Tomlinson looks assured on the ball, not afraid to get stuck in either. Grant is brilliant still, but very frustrating when he tries to play his flair stuff and it doesn't come off.
