Just a thought, that’s probably already crossed DF mind.
Yes, no doubt it has.

Ngl forgot about Zayn. Haven’t seen him feature much for the reserves.

Like to think he will feature. Always been hyped up but never been given much of a chance.

It was talked about by a few people that Zayn hasnt improved at the levels that some of the others have. I suspect he'll be released at some point

I thought several weeks ago that we needed another striker to cover the injuries to Davies, Rose & Graham (let alone an injury or suspension to Walker & Ajose). And now with Walker's suspension, the need for another striker has become even more acute.

Are we still looking for a striker? ............... And who is available?

Realistically there are not going to be any strikers who are free agents who are any good who are available.

We certainly need to try to find one cos if Nicky gets injured we've got nobody as back up.

What’s the point of having a reserve team if you do not promote from below. Get that young lad on the bench

But Zayn's not been playing for the reserves recently.

Jimmy isn't ready yet imo. He'd be in the pocket of a decent Lge 2 CB.

You don’t know unless you try, worth a place on the bench if no other strikers are available

Darren Bent, although I wonder on his fitness.

Kaylen Hinds, released in Jan from Wolfsburg, former Arsenal trainee. Played for England from U16 through to 21. Not much experience, but from what I read he has a bright future and is only 21.

Joe Mason, released by Wolves in Jan, not a big lad, but linked to Plymouth and Charlton.

Darren Bent will not come here, he's pretty much retired. He was on 25K a week at derby and had the chance to carry on playing for Burton but cba. He gets between 5-10K per tv appearance

Bent wasn’t on 25k a week are derby, far less, if he scored Every game and the team did match the goals, it would of been closer to that figure, averaged weekly. My source, a member of the payroll team.

Flitcroft needs to earn his money by adapting the training to suit the probable starting 11 for next week . This is not a situation where a sub replaces someone and has to adapt to the tactics being used or the team need to change tactics during a game because plan a is not working . If Ajose and Hamilton are to play up front then focus on that all week .We are told the players are good enough now is the time for the manager to get the best out of them.Plus we are lucky enough to replace a striker on loan from a championship club with another striker from a higher league club . The talent should be there , Flitcroft simply needs to get the best out of them.

Application form filled in and waiting for the next premiership vacancy .

But would he get a work permit after 29th March.

Is Serbia in the EU then ?

Yeah but if you didn’t already know Sedgwick has worked at Derby before...
