I pay for BT Sport but never watch Cash League on there, only Moto GP.

In my opinion Sky have ruined the domestic game. They have so much power and influence, but care nothing about supporters who attend matches. Only care about viewing figures and advertising revenue.
I think that's what iritates me most about this. If the game wasn't on Sky it would be deemed to be an early kick off by the authorities to cut down on problems with drink. Now it's on Sky, they decide when the game is played, and the question regarding potential problems associated with drink appear to be ignored.

Doesn't seem consistent to me !

Because ones a work day and ones not.

Given the modern working patterns does that really make a difference ?

Yes
I don't agree. And from what Chris M has said it seems to confirm it.

I do feel for those who might now miss it, but I do agree with you. Sky via its sponsorship brings in close to £1m in total.

£1m to who?

I can still make the game as I'm on days. I'd booked the Sat off but will go and support (or go for a laugh at) some non League team if they're at home that day. The exposure we'll get if we beat Cowley's mob will be great and it should be a decent game.

What ever your opinion regarding Sky, let’s try turning out in numbers if we can and create an atmosphere on live t.v. that us as a club can be proud of....and that the rest of league Two will envy :mtfc:

It's caused me a bit of a problem as I've had to swap an on call day, but no biggie. I do sympathise with those that can't get now and TV companies do have too much control in football.

I don't think being on TV has ever adversely affected our crowds, even our away support has held up for televised games.

Under lights & with a 6,500 + gate, FM will look good on TV (as long as they put the cameras in the Bish).

They'll be in the bish as the main camera but will also be pitch side in front of IGS. Thinking back to previous FA Cup games.

We beat the Gimps 2-1 the last time we were on live tv against them. Winners of that game went on to play Liverpool.

It counts as a Saturday game so if it is then it would only for overseas viewers.

Any chance of Sky refunding the £80 to change my air tickets to accommodate their schedule?

But how illegal are they when all the UK betting sites advertise on them surely they are breaking the law as well.
