2-0 FGR

Doidge got both of them. As good as a new signing for them.

2-0 Lincoln

Clearly need to take care of ourselves first and foremost Saturday, but Bury play Lincoln in the evening kick-off. Im thinking a draw would be the best result - thoughts?

Win for Bury would probably be better for us as we have a game in hand over them, so wins Saturday and Tuesday would then see us 2 points in front of Bury and only 1 point behind Lincoln, although the leaders would have a game in hand.

A draw in that game would be best IMO.

A win for us and a draw for them would see us 1 clear with the game in hand, the problem is the game in hand is at forest green so obviously not going to be easy

FGR are going to be a real threat now they have Christian Doidge back. Hopefully someone else will come in and buy him during the transfer window.

Now he has played for FGR and Bolton - Can he even play for another team?

no he can't. Only non-league step 3 and below.

That's bad news for us and the rest of League 2.

Didn’t expect any favours from Grimsby or Yeovil last night, routine wins for both of them unfortunately!

Think a draw would be better in the Bury v Lincoln game but if there was to be a winner then I’d probably rather Lincoln as I can’t see them slipping out the top 3 anyway.

Agree with the post above r.e. Forest Green, I think they’re going to be right up there this season now with Doidge firing. Very tough game down at their place on Tuesday so it’s important to get a win v Tranmere.

Doesn't constantly looking over your shoulder create anxiety? Don't dwell on what rivals are doing, just concentrate on the games we have to play and maximising the points total we can achieve. Let them do all the worrying.

Agreed, they were always going to be easy games for both - was annoyed as toyed with the idea of putting a bet on but a tenner only returned like £23 - still, would have been £13!

Grimsby have MK at home on Saturday, maybe they might finally wake up and do something

Yeovil away easy? We struggled at home recently so credit must go to Lincoln for that result, I bet they did not take it for granted.
Grimsby had been on a decent run though before we abruptly ended it for them opposed to MK Dons losing something like 4 out of the last 6 league games. Hope MK Dons continue their current form.

I see Bury have got through to the Chickenfeed semi final. Perhaps they will take their eye off the ball dreaming of Wembley. We can only hope
