I don't think this has appeared anywhere on here yet.

Here is an article on David Flitcroft from The Sun yesterday which is most definitely worth a read.

A truly inspirational article, our club is in good hands.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

Having had experience of mental health issues myself I have the upmost respect for anyone who is honest and opens up like that. DF deserves credit just like all other people helping to recognise this terrible illness ...

I’m sure it’s interesting but is it a breach of copyright ?

I've waited until the paper is no longer available to buy. So it's not putting off anyone from buying the paper. It's also not on The Sun website so I couldn't simply provide a link to it, which is what I would have done. And it's fully credited.

Hello there, you are probably techically correct though it's useful to highlight the issue of mental health and DF story.
I don't get the sun so thanks to the poster for putting on the forum.

Mental health issues in my experience are such a energy draining condition. They can leave you on top of the world one day then in the depths of despair the next for no apparent reason. Like most males it is very hard to acknowledge that you have anything wrong with you.

It is admirable that David Flitcroft has worked to help others with this condition.

Like others have said, we are in safe hands with this gaffer.

Sounds like he’s had a tough time of it and like others have said I think it’s brilliant that folk in football do and can open up about these issues and are open andhonest, it’s a vehicle for others to follow.

It’s a pleasing read
