How do we think this is going to work then with only 5 being allowed in the match day squad?
Have the club said anything about it yet? (can't see anything)

I would guess that Elsnik will miss out from the 18 man squad.

Could be that Elsnik goes back once Macca is fit again anyway.

It's more interesting that we have to rebuild whether we get promoted or not. Need to make the players feel that this is the club for them cos if they fire us to promotion they are firmly in the shop window, and if they don't, why would they want to stay.

Think we’re either going to lose Elsnik by choice with Grant replacing him. Or maybe Grant and Smith have been sent here to soften the blow of losing Walker, hence the signing of Ajose.
There’s also the possibility of signing Sweeney or Elsnik permanently. I think Elsnik knows his future doesn’t lie at Derby, and I’m not sure how highly rated Sweeney is at Stoke either with their big spending.
What I cannot see happening is DF having 6 loan players when you can only use 5, the parent clubs wouldn’t be happy either. With a small squad like we have you can’t afford to have players we can’t choose in the lineup.

Mentioned this too. Come what may we're in.for a rebuild unless we sign really push the boat out and try to sign on a perm.
