What has been your favourite goal/moment of 2018?
For me I’m torn between the Hemmings 90+9 penalty at County, or the Mellis equaliser at Lincoln. Neither led to 3 points but as individual moments they were great as they both thought they had beaten us. I’ll go with the Hemmings penalty by a nose.

Sir Mal at the Dip, end of thread.
Any right minded Stags fan could not think any other way. The aftermath of that strike was terminal for them, and they knew it.

Was a great day, particularly having won. I was pretty much expecting us to win there though with them being SO poor (I know we weren’t playing great at the time either) which is why the goal wasn’t quite my favourite moment. Probably my favourite game/result though.

I concur. I've been a huge fan of Mal Benning since he joined the club. Him being the one to drive the stake through their black Spireite heart was the perfect end for me.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Where's the like button? Absolutely, it was like two wins in 1 game.

I celebrated Mal's goal much harder than the Hemmings pen.
Notable mentions for CJ v Cheltenham after the despicable tactics deployed by Gary Johnson & Mellis at Lincoln to shut them the hell up.

That CJ goal against Cheltenham was brilliant. Great scenes for a goal at home against somebody not considered a rival. Horrible tactics by them but the game had everything!

Close between Benning & Mellis for me.
Been some good moments for us in the derbies this year. Hemmings, Benning, Mellis, Hamilton all been great moments.

Spireites away. We hammered the final nail into their coffin - and they'll have to live with that for as long as their club exists

Bishops goal at West Brom. The belief we have had in Dave grew at a greater pace from then on.
We matched a former premier side throughout the game, played some good expansive football and Bish slammed the ball home.
Proved that we can do it.

Good shout outs to the last minute goals at county and Lincoln but yeah not comparible.

Sir Mal's strike and the whole occasion surrounding it is in my top 5 Stags moments of all time and is miles ahead of anything from last year.

1. Beating raspberry away & putting one of final nails in coffin to send them down
2. Equaliser at County
3. Steve Evans leaving to go to Posh, blessing in disguise!

As I couldn’t get a ticket for the Spireites game, I’ll agree with this one.

For pure enjoyment and thrill the Mellis equaliser....fans went craziest I’d seen them since Sir Calvin Andrew scored his one and only goal for us.
