In Calendar year we are up to 15th whereas in 2017 we were 23rd out of the 92.

Only Liverpool and Man City lost fewer than us in 2018.

Also amazing that we’ve only lost 6 given that we lost 4 on the bounce around Easter!

It would be interesting to know chesterfields over the last couple of seasons, shame they’re too low to be worth bothering with!

Also, the old adage that you’d rather have a good season than calendar year as it’s only the table at the end of May that counts, that said with our current form hopefully we can be greedy and have a good 2019 as well.

Just read a tweet to the horrible Darragh Mac celebrating Peterboro as 24th best points to game ratio out of all league clubs in the top four divisions for the calender year.

Mansfield gloriously high up the table in 15th. Can't post a link or picture of the table cos I don't know how but... did we really only lose 6 league games all year?? That's incredible! Third lowest defeats across all 92 league clubs as well.

How many calender years could we have possibly ever bettered that? Credit to everyone involved, that's an amazing performance and an amazing set of stats.

I suspect 1976 beats it.

We lost 8 league games in 1976, 3 in the second half of the 75-76 season and 5 in the first half of the 76-77 season.

We only lost 6 ‘Football League’ games in the calendar year 1939 before the war got in the way of things.

We lost 4 games from January 1951 to November 1951, then lost 5 more in December 1951
