why would you need to ask that. If DF says he hopes he'll be here the rest of the season then that clearly means they've not activated the clause... seems pretty obvious no?

no they haven't, at least yet. However Mansfield obviously need to discuss with Forest and will do so.

Unless they are selling him I think it will come down to what Walker wants

I thought he was excellent today. Getting better as the season goes on.

Yes, he was the only player that can really be proud of his performance today. Not that they were all poor, just a little under the usual standard; but Walker was quality throughout and just a little unlucky not to get the goal that he deserved.

http://www.forestforum.co.uk/showthread ... 03&page=43 interested in the forest fans opinion of him. They know he's not at their level, and he isn't there yet.

One poster says something very true; either walker Stays with us fires us to promotion and has the potential of becoming a stags legend, or, he goes back and remains Des Walkers' son.

Think Forest will have other things in their mind for the next couple of weeks . Like who is going to manage them.

Would be strange. They have more than enough capable strikers, and ones proven at League One level too.

If that happens, the chances of keeping TW become slimmer.

Possibly Doncaster bound according to twitter?

Massive mistake if he doesn't see this out with us until the end of the season.

Become a hero here playing with his pals like cj and mellis or benchwarmer at Doncaster or Barnsley?!

Again, Doncaster have two very good L1 strikers in Wilks and Marquis, would be strange.

But isn’t Wilks on loan from Leeds, perhaps they want him back.

Walker is technically superb. His work rate has improved dramatically over the season and he would be a massive miss if he was to leave.
On another level in every aspect to Danny Rose.

Love how the majority on here wanted Tyler gone a month or so ago. The Danny Rose thread is similar. How opinions change I suppose. Fickle.

Currently sat in a bar in Berlin having a drink with Mrs Spartacus and a few of the locals.

They reckon that Hertha Berlin are after Tyler Walker and are willing to offer two Tiger Tanks to Forest in exchange. Don’t think JR can match that.

But then again, all the best rumours are the ones you make up yourself.

Happy New Year Stagsnet and to all Stags fans from me in Berlin.

If he goes up a league and doesn't play that'll be disappointing. If this does happen surely he'll go to a lower end club that want him as a player not as a sub.

Two working Tigers eh? I think they'd buy about 100 Tyler Walkers
