The standard Merry Christmas thread.

Postby adamstag » Sun Dec 23, 2018 4:07 pm

So comes yet another Christmas.

Mansfield town should be looking back on themselves in the mirror with a little smile on their face. Good form on the pitch with a great unbeaten record and and a better away record.

Off the field we continue to improve with sensory rooms and the new club facilities which look second to none. Attendances continue to creep up, while county and chesterfield move from disaster to disaster.

Off the field it’s time for us all to toast to each other for another year on this fair planet, and to remember those that have fallen.

Like or loathe each other, I wouldn’t change Mansfield or our fans for anything and we should celebrate Christmas with a toast to our club moving forward.

I wish you all, your families and friends the best of Christmas’ and see you all Boxing Day for win over bury.

Happy Christmas all. It's a time of year that can be difficult for many and we should all take a little moment to reflect and think of those less fortunate than ourselves, like the spireites.

I jest, of course.

Merry Christmas all stags fans. Peace and love.

This would be a great post......good will to all and all that......but, it's not like that on here is it? Most can't wait to rip into each other and tear a new one for their most hated poster, if only it was good will to all!

A mate of mine died overnight. It puts things into perspective. Love your loved ones and treasure the time

Condolences whiffy lad. 2018'S been an awful year on a personal front. In August I lost my dear Mum after 8-9 long years of looking after her. Blind and housebound not a good combination. In April one of my best friends was lost to Vasculitis... one day fine and within a week or two on the critical list then gone, gutting for everyone who knew him and such a lovely guy too. A slight 'up' on the year of course was what happened over the M1 but no recompense for the losses.

Watching it now. Bit naff when Carolyn shouted out the kids names one by one at the switch on and nobody cheered. Probably didn't realise we had a football team let alone who the Chairman's kids were.
