If I wasn't laughing so much you'd want to give him a cuddle and say, 'There, there young man. At least you'll have a local derby next season at Cheaterfield'.

That's very unfair. You can't go promising that. Chesterfield might be in Conference North.

I like the guy. We’ve been there in the past. Just so happens we’re in the ascendancy now thanks to the Radfords. Still hate County in general though.

Notts County (or AFC Magpies) might be playing Ilkeston Town in a local derby if they end up in administration due to their £3 million playing budget and compensation being paid to former managers. Is Neal Ardley still in a job this morning?

I like his vlogs. He loves his club, and his opinions seem fairly balanced. He was spot on about their performance and his opinion on Thomas is true. If I were Ardley, every player would be transfer listed starting with Thomas, Dennis and to save £4K a week, Vaughan.

His passion and commitment is admirable (and he’s from Sutton!)

I don't get the criticism for Thomas, although he only really played well in the first half, he was their best player and only threat.

quite. As I said in the other thread, he was literally the only outfield player they had that caused us any problems whatsoever. He created four chances for himself. You'll be able to watch them on my full highlights once loaded.

When I got Thomas` autograph for my friend, it was almost like it was too much effort for him!

The most mardy player I’ve ever seen. His head drops so much he’s like the ball greedy kid at school who sulks when he’s not got the ball. Their keeper was their best player!!!

And the keeper was dodgy on two occasions dashing out of his area.

I can't even remember him tbh, must have been a total non-entity.

As I remember it, he had one game for us when he looked very good - at home against Hartlepool I think. Next game he was subbed off at half time he was that ineffective.

That's my recollection of him too. He had the one decent game, where he ran down to left wing to score a screamer , can't remember who the opponent's were, then disappeared and got mardy.

At best, he's a one good performance in 7 or 8, nowhere near as consistent as this current crop and as such, should not be let anywhere near us again (as in joining us).

He did seem to be their best option though, and seem to make his own chances as the others were poor.

+1, I quite like the young fella.
Only really comments and berates Clownty, never heard him particularly scathing of another club.

I think Thomas would be a very good player for a team like Mansfield to be honest, like mentioned he was the only threat for them the entire game.
