It would be nice if they did. I did consider going to Fulham last season until they moved it to their training ground.

Would you find enough interest to cover the cost of a coach though? I'd think probably not. Midweek and not a 1st team fixture, long way away, work in the morning, having to take an afternoon off to go down in the first place. Looking at last Friday the local derby V Notts there's only a few interested in the YT to make them want to go and support the boys on a cold Friday evening. So the thought of filling a coach for a YT game over 200 miles away... probably not.

New ground ? I remember us playing there in the league in the early 90s and Jamie Redknapp was playing for them.

Yeah, but the pitch has been turned 90 degrees since then, so a lot of people who went then will class it as a new ground.

FA Youth Cup Round 3
AFC Bournemouth U18 v - v Mansfield Town U18
Attendance: tbc

Date: 12 December 2018
Kick off 7pm

Martin Shaw at the Vitality Stadium, Dean Court

It’s the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The Stags U18 youth team are at Premier League AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium Dean Court.

Unless I’m mistaken, I think this is the first time a Stags side has played at a Premier League ground since the FA Cup tie at Newcastle in 2006.

It’s a big night for the Stags youngsters.

The Stags have so far knocked out Grimsby and Chester to get this far.

AFC Bournemouth’s U18 side are unbeaten in 13 games. This is Bournemouth’s first game in the competition this season, as Premier League and Championship clubs come in at round 3. In the league, they sit in second place in the EFL Youth Alliance South West Division.

Mansfield meanwhile are in second place in the EFL Youth Alliance North East Division.

It’s pretty windy down here on the coast today.

Mansfield make one change from the side that started in the last round against Chester. Noah Stokes comes in for Joao Rangel.

We’re expecting a 3-4-1-2 formation as follows:
Keaton Marrs;
Jordan Armsden, Jamie Chisholm, Noah Stokes;
Larrell King, Jack Cornell, James Tague, Kian Sketchley;
Tyrese Sinclair;
Jimmy Knowles, Riley O’Sullivan.

Subs: Jamie Boyle, Rio Molyneaux, Nathan Saunders, Joao Rangel, Rhys Sarson.
