Left it late.

Much needed. Tyler walker is a stag.

Get in!!! My days that was frustrating though with White and Hamilton out of position until late on. As soon as White gets in to a position to cross we score.

Thought Ajose looked very sharp first half, poor miss but we move on. You can tell Grant will create and score plenty of goals for us too.

Walker is going from strength to strength, his link up play has improved as the seasons gone on and his goals are so important.

That goal could be huge for our season.

We were a little too tippy tappy for me tonight, yes we deserved to win but sometimes we just look for one or two passes too many. Bishop was terrific in the middle again, he truly is two players, of the two new lads Grant did well, Ajose needs time and that miss, well, er, ready/aim/fire! Pearce looked back to his best and White did brilliantly to set up the goal after being fouled by Palmer. Walker is getting better and better.

Our default is to play proper football, on the deck at pace and I love it, it was just a bit off sync tonight. Still 3rd and not quite at our best, take that!

That was difficult to watch but the team is now getting used to different players and that was a huge 3 points. If you're gonna play off your usual pace and you pick up 3 points then that's a great bonus. Every team goes through a dip, and we seem to be in ours, but we'll come good again. :D COYS

I can check into a hotel without breaking sweat and I know lots of my colleagues who can do the same.

Grant was very impressive, I very much like what I saw, not just the skill but the application and attitude, absolutely bang on.

Not the best performance in the world but great to get the win late like that! Grant was brilliant, always looking for the ball and has got a great touch. Excited to see what the new boys can do in the next few games.

Frustrating game to watch but a welcome 3 points, I thought Crawley played well and contained us most of the game and created a few decent chances themselves . Still think we are missing a plan B and that Davies type of player to hold the ball and win the aerial battle .

Let's not forget the two guys only met the team yesterday had one training session probably a limited one this morning n tonight it was about getting to know each others strength hopefully by Saturday they'll be firing on all 4 cylinders....

Question....

Who do you drop to accomodate Preston into the side?

Great headache to have DF

Sweeney imo, he made two really bad passes tonight which nearly led to Crawley goals... but Preston has been a little iffy too in recent times

You must watch a differnet game to me Rob. We hardly strung two passes together all night. Tippy tappy my arse.

Big get out jail free tonight. We had a couple of good chances but that's the worst I've seen us play for a couple of months.

Vital win to capitalise on the game in hand. Some great movement from Walker tonight. Ajose looked ok nothing more, Grant was a mixed bag but had something about him, not sure him and Mellis can play against the better sides.

Only sour point for me was needing one more Stags yellow card for £400! Mellis even missed his professional foul attempt when Palmer went through! Unbelievable

Great win . First half things didn't happen for us . Too much tippy tappy play imo . We looked nervous . Second half , I thought we very good . Should of scored a couple more although Crawley didn't deserve to lose by three if we had done so . I thought it be a close game . Two defeats on the bounce may of affected our confidence a tad . I think our play is more suited to away games where the home teams attack us more .
To say we had Preston missing , a couple out of position and two new lads in , I thought we did well .
Ajose looks quick and will be a huge asset to us . He will score goals . Grant my motm . His work rate was fantastic . Bishop had another excellent game .
Walker just gets better . Pearce pick of the defenders . I know Rose isn't scoring but he offers something different when he plays .
The team will get stronger . Having the trickery and speed from the likes of Walker , Ajose, Grant , White , Hamilton and even Mellis and Benning would terrify anyone .
Huge three points
Well done lads

Disjointed, the three up top or the two and Grant just behind leaves Bishop and Mellis too much to do, we're not in control of the midfield and are giving the other team a foothold in the game.
