No supprise but the losses seem lower then most would have predicted. Positive stuff.
To have such a competitive budget and now not be losing money hand over fist confirms a huge step in the right direction.
If your having a pop at Evans, it's not his fault he asked for a budget and got it...

Why can't it be concurrent?
If it can't, how long is the go between finishing one project and starting the next?

Because his pocket isn't bottomless.
We also need to fill what space there is currently.
The Bishop Street development wouldn't raise cash it would be a cosmetic exercise until our numbers increased sufficiently.
Nice idea but is it viable for fourth tier football ?Stoney wrote:Amber Andy wrote:arsene wengers coat wrote:MTFCMAD wrote:The One wrote:Talk of Bishop Street or hotel first. Its no brainer hotel income generator

I've mentioned this a few times but bishop Street done right COULD raise cash and also finish the ground off nicely.
Get a small stand the full length of the pitch an exact replica of the small stand at Luton with a few rows of seats and multiple boxes. You're then affectively extending the corporate area and opportunities with companies/rich buggers given the opportunity of having a box at the Stags with catering options etc.
However saying that it will only bring back the cash if you can fill these boxes and will demand be there to fill 10ish executive boxes each home game? Paul Nyland will have the answer to that.
Plus it's John Radford's money and he can do whatever he wants with it!

Whereas the Bishop Street Stand ....
StagsFan83 wrote:My personal opinion would be do the Bishop St Stand, knock out the first few rows of the west stand, let it incorporate a nice technical area. Move the pitch towards the west stand, thus allowing a good sized stand that in my head looks a bit like Lutons, but with about 10 rows of seats and half a dozen boxes, with maybe a community room, or even relocated offices (which will probably have to move for the hotel). Lutons as it is for me looks a bit tin pot purely because of the lack of seating in front of the boxes.
