Doing fine, Scunny having a bit more possession as you'd expect. Like the look of Smith in midfield.

OSJ on international duty for ST Knitts, good luck to him
as much as I would of liked to see Ando given a chance, how good is it to see a manager able to play academy lads!

It’s fantastic to see 5 young lads in the starting 11 and a further 4 on the bench.
Good luck to them tonight and hopefully this is the first of many appearances for us.

Law and Blake look good. I know Scunny have a weaker team too but a really good endorsement for Demps work. It’s been a while since we had some consistent flow of young ens coming through

Bit lucky to stay ahead. Scunthorpe massively on top much of the time. Law has been outstanding in my view, also Blake.

Couple young lads from the u18's train at Shane Nicholson's gym in derby where I go sometimes and say everything about the youth set up is top quality and the best they've been involved with. One played for Forest and one played for Lincoln before joining stags

The youngsters are doing fine. A couple of nervy moments, as you'd expect, Scunthorpe had the better chances.
Logan came for a cross! Twice! On a serious note he's playing well.
Law having a great game at left back. Smith doing fine. Blake having a good game. Graham doing OK.
If I had to be critical of anything Butcher is not having a good game, not really done anything and his passes are quite poor.

glad to hear the youngsters are doing well but has Butcher had more than one good performance while playing for the stags?
A lot is from the bench so maybe harsh, but he’s just failing to make any impact still in my opinion.

Jason law might very well be man of the match. He's been absolutely superb. I'd go as far to say he's not looked like a youngster,he looks like he's been playing league football for years.

2-1. Preston tries to block a shot and deflects it over Logan. Now the clean sheet has gone I wouldn't be disappointed with a draw. If only to have cowley explode.

I will say watching this. This referee is quite good. Excellent use of advantage.
