Didn't realise Walker won the ball initially for the second, great goal.

It’s incredible how good we are at creating amazing chances and equally amazing how we manage to miss almost all of them.

As long as we put 2 away per game I don't mind if we miss 20!

As frustrating as it is seeing them missed it was an improvement from Saturday where Cheltenham managed to limit our attacks. I much preferred the luxury of being able to miss a couple.

you know what, looking at the Rose chance initially, i am going to defend him here. is a great goalkeeping display instead of a bad miss. Tight angle, goal keeper spread well..

It’s something we need to improve whatever way you look at it though.

Another striker got to be a priority for January.

Agree with Yella. He didn't need the touch, gave the keeper the chance to set himself then hit it straight at him. Danny is mostly better when he doesn't have time to think, as is Tyler. When Rose goes through one on one he misses more than he scores. I can't remember his scoring too many proper one on ones.

it appears that embedding youtube videos no longer works. So I have removed the embedding and you can now click the links

Looking back at it, it wasn't a tight angle as he got the ball more or less on the end of the D, about level with the post. I think he might regret not trying to go round the keeper.

As for Walker, he has the knack of timing his runs into the 6-yard box very well. He does need to work on trapping the ball though, as shown in Rose's miss which came after Walker had failed to control the ball, and another missed chance in the Cheltenham match, I think, where the ball went 4 or 5 yards away from him when he attempted to control it.

Good news. The issue with youtube embedding is now fixed - thanks to Anton for the fix.

I wish DF would give young Jordon more game time or start a match the lad has the ability to become one of the finds of the season.

Flitcroft said yesterday that Graham would be playing on Tuesday against Scunthorpe, along with Gibbens and Smith.

although i agree he needs more time. I wouldn't start him yet in the league yet unless injury dictated. Walker is finding his feet, Rose is Rose and although is a bit below par is still an excellent striker at this level and causes defense problems. Davis needs to regain match fitness and its clear to see he is a handful when firing on all cylinders. Graham should be utilized in this cup game to see how he gets on, as well as match minutes in the league should the game go the way we want it too.

DF would be absolutely crucified if he started what would be perceived as a weakened team and we lost.....

The approach to Graham is good, I think. Yes, we need goals but I don't think lobbing him into a high pressure league games are going to be good.

Bringing him on late get's him normalised to crowd etc. We have the chance to really nurture him.

Last thing we need is for him to have a raspberries 45 minutes and half of Stagsnet launching into him
