Also saw the much vaunted Brown has Swindon 4 places below us, having played 2 more games, won the same number but lost 4 more, and a goal difference 11 worse than us.

So glad JR chooses not to listen to us experts :P

I'm surprised Brown wasn't fired Tuesday. He must be on borrowed time.

I'm assuming 81 points will be enough for automatic promotion, TOP 3 finish.

Current Table
PLD.....W......D.......L......PTS........PPG
14........4.......9.......1........21.........1.50

Required for 81 points
PLD.....W......D......L........PTS.......PPG
32........20.....0......12........60........1.88
32........19.....3......10........60........1.88
32........18.....6.......8.........60........1.88
32........17.....9.......6.........60........1.88
32........16.....12.....4.........60........1.88
32........15.....15.....2.........60........1.88
32........14.....18.....0.........60........1.88

Based on our current PPG 1.50 we would finish on 69 points, which usually misses out on the play-offs.

Only 1 defeat in Flitcroft's last 19 League games ;)
Won 6
Drawn 12
Lost 1

Although previous to the above, his first 7 games in charge was,
Won 0
Drawn 3
Lost 4

He's borrowed more time than Dr Who :P

Hindsight is a great thing, as at one point he was one of the fans favourites to replace Evans

Where? At Crawley? I never heard his name mentioned at all on anyone's wish list when Jabba waddled away.

Sounds like Kewell threw him a lifeline today

Yeah I'm pretty positive his name got bandied around Sneagy. Just look for someone with a sheepish look on their face and it'll be them! :P

Tbf, given his stats since joining County, I'd like Kewell to win the next game to ensure he's still there till December ;)

31........15.....12.....4.........57........1.84
31........14.....15.....2.........57........1.84
31........13.....18.....0.........57........1.84

Based on our current PPG 1.60 we would finish on 73 points, which usually is in the play-offs.

Only 1 defeat in Flitcroft's last 20 League games ;)
Won 7
Drawn 12
Lost 1

Win our game in hand, v Grimsby HOME, and we would be 6th, just 2 points off 3rd ;)

It's what often happens (though not always) when you give a manager time, under Evans after 16 games last season we had 22 points, we have 24 after 15 now.

Sssh Rob, you must add the last 8 games of last season on to any stats that you want to pull. Especially with us only having 93 points available to accumulate over half a calendar year.

Oi!!!

Now you stop with that sense and patience malarkey, right now!!!! :P

Great result, but still a little early to definitely say we've hit a rich vein of form properly. Still, it wouldn't be Stagsnet if we didn't have it all, boom, bust & BS

We’ve still not got back to back wins and only 7 points from last 3 including 2 away games. Rubbish...

No I’m tempting fate here but I do think things are going the right way.

There will be twists and turns before the end of the season and the odd bad performance will give the whiners the chance to whine.

I do get that everyone is entitled to their opinion but it is noticeable that some only post when things are not going well. Now where I get into trouble on here is because I think some get off on poor results ( despite what they might say)

Looking back on the thread I would welcome an update on progress from Old Ram Stag and abc. Go on see if you can find any positives or do you want to wait until Lincoln in the hope of the wheels falling off.

Oh if they do we put them back on and go again

I was not happy with him at the end of last season Rob like a lot of fans. There's no denying the fact that he made a complete mess of the last 12 games.

I like his style of football but there have been far too many draws and throwing away leads. You can see what he is trying to do but the draws have been frustrating. It's also taken him a while to work out that CJ Hamilton is one of our best attacking threats and that he should not be playing at right wing back. You could also argue that his two big signings, Otis Khan and Craig Davies, have not delivered the goods yet.

He has a top three budget and the wages at the club are massive although that is partly due to Evans. I hope for JR's sake more than anything that he delivers the goods as JR deserves success for the financial backing he has given Evans and Flitcroft. Today was a massive step forward as we recorded two successive league wins for the first time since this season and since DF has been at the club. I wish him all the best as I stated at the start of the season. He is hopeless at set pieces though

Does Flitcroft take the free kicks? I had my doubts. I say it as it is. We seem to be seeing the light now. Need a good striker. At least play offs as things stand. Should really get automatic!
